Shock to the system (or maybe it's just jet lag), biking #BikeHfx this morning. The speed of vehicles, especially on residential roads hit me hard today (thankfully, not physically!) Any moving vehicle in a residential area could do 25-30km/h and lose no tangible time in their day. But, they don't.

First #BikeHfx daycare dropoff w the Thule today. Definitely time saving vs walking & transit. Just as sweaty as other options (A wants to be carried probably 60% of the time despite being a steady walker. Little legs and all that.) Also... bikes! Seeing neighbours and friends! Exercise! Bikes!

Today we rode around Dartmouth to test the route for the next #KidicalMassHfx#BikeHfx.

Two people (an adult and a child) ride their bikes next to each other in a protected bike lane on a bridge. The angle of the sun creates a shadow on the bike lane: of the riders and the metal fencing separating them from vehicle traffic.
