“You need to kick your outer leg out more,” Michael said. “Get the ribbon up over your ass basically.” Rinnie grunted as she righted herself. “That, unfortunately, makes sense. I’ll keep practicing.” But first, she’d do a different inversion just to give herself a break. It was the first inversion she’d ever learned and had been told by her instructor at the time that it was atypical that aerialists learned it due to how many steps went into it, with several failure points along the way. Rinnie’d been chasing that high ever since.

But I promise I will make it worth your while.” Rinnie’s right eye twitched. “You, more than most people, should understand I like to know what I’m signing up for,” Rinnie said through gritted teeth. “Not here,” Crossweave persisted, his gaze intense.

As soon as the door was locked, Riela and Nathaniel wasted no time crashing into Riela’s chair by her bed. Their mouths found each other and Riela was incredibly excited with how forward Nathaniel was being. They slowed down, taking time to explore each other’s features. Riela trailed kisses around Nathaniel’s pointed jaw. Nathaniel traced fingertips along Riela’s collarbone. Riela sighed happily and planted more kisses on Nathaniel’s left ear. His hands trailed lower and Riela pressed herself into his touch. A small moan escaped her lips. Nathaniel leaned back and Riela hiked up her skirts to give herself more room to move around. Nathaniel grabbed one of her thighs and she shivered. “That would be a knife,” Nathaniel whispered quietly. “Mmm.” She pulled her skirts up farther. “Do you want to get it?”
