“Oh fuck you bitch,” Taryn said.
Rinnie paused, actually taken aback.
“I’m covering your ass,” Taryn continued. “My orders had no expiration date and so far, I haven’t gotten new ones. So as far as I’m concerned, I’m still your bodyguard. I have just as much right to be there as Kanjo does.”

Rinnie smiled at Ciara. “Go on,” she teased. “Get the part where you squeeze the life out of me out of the way.”
Ciara threw her arms around the elf woman and brought her into a bone-crushing hug. The foot in height difference meant that Ciara lifted Rinnie up by a bit. Still, Rinnie threw her arms around Ciara in return and squeezed with all her might. It was cute.

“Is it too forward to ask for all three of us to share a bed then?” Ciara asked, letting her face meld into a smirk.
“Goddess I thought you’d never ask,” Rinnie said.
Killian opened the door. He put an arm around each woman and almost gleefully ushered them inside the room.
Things moved quickly from there. Ciara put up a ward only to find it merely augmenting one of Rinnie’s. She couldn’t be surprised.
Then Killian was kissing her.
Ciara had forgotten what it was like to get slammed up against a wall by him. There weren’t many men who could do that to her and none of them lived in Himmelmauer long-term. His lips pressed into hers forcefully as the weight of his body pressed into hers. His hands pinned her arms to the wall and she relished every second. She closed up the walls around her aura so Killian’s didn’t overpower her.

“Scout around, see how many other survivors there are, then we all start hiking,” Killian replied. “If we’re lucky, there will be flares and we can get ourselves rescued. But if we stay on this train, we will freeze to death.”
Already he could feel the bottoms of his feet were colder than they should be. The pain was relatively absent to him, but if he could feel it, others were likely already suffering.”

Then, Taryn was kissing Rinnie. It was much like their first kiss when it came to forcefulness. But now there was an urgency, a desperation, that hadn’t been there before.
“Fine, we’ll put a name on it later,” Taryn whispered as she pulled away.
Someone’s hand clamped down around Rinnie’s neck and she would have shot up a foot in the air if the person behind it wasn’t so strong.
“Come on lovebirds,” Killian said. “We’ve got places to be.”
