On paper, the Hyperscan sounded like a great idea. Hardware on par with a DS or PS2, but printed on a one-board system-on-a-chip meant creating a new sub-$100 market. But a SINGLE-speed CDROM drive doomed the 2006 console to an underwhelming reception and a quick trip to the clearance rack.

the fix? he had upgraded everything on his PC except the CD Drive. that was the problem, it wasn't fast enough to play the game. either install directly to the HDD or upgrade the CDROM. insane.
guy calls in cause his new Voodoo 3d card is stuttering with MS Flight Sim 2000. He's running the game at 800x600, on a Pentium II with 64mb, not gigs kids, MEGABYTES of RAM. and...THAT WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH! he was running the game off CDROM and not the HDD. he didn't know how to install to the HDD.
