I keep thinking that our little village market is run by locals. I was dismayed that there are carpetbaggers, itinerant vendors doing the market route. The left photo is taken in our village market. The right one was taken a day later in Aylmer, Québec which we found after going for a Sunday drive.

All this to say that there is a lot to be mad about, including the fact that the NYT feels like they honored us with their time, but there are so many things that are good here in my home state, where my entire family comes from. It's so cool to live here, and I love it, but carpetbaggers GO HOME

I'm not a real lesbian But l'm the proxy-lesbian for these carpetbaggers to yell at because they're too devoid of principle or integrity to yell at who they're really angry at

I'm told I should stop calling out-of-town office visitors "carpetbaggers"

Remember when FG were pushing Silicon Valley’s grift du jour, co-living? These people are fools without any capacity for independent thought, they just swallow whatever line the currently fashionable carpetbaggers put out.

I mean, if it were the "carpetbaggers," wouldn't they have wanted to PRESERVE the records of the legalistic horrors of slavery? It seems to me that if this had been the case, many of them would have turned up by now.

I was told that the reason there aren't many records extant from the "Court of Magistrates and Freeholders" was that 1) after 1865 those records didn't matter anymore; and 2) oh, probably a bunch of carpetbaggers stole them.

It's amazing how the PAGOP can only find carpetbaggers.
