Look, IMO, it comes to this: What is more important to you: human life, or shareholder profits? Maybe your choice is influenced by the type -- or lack of -- education you received. But that's another basic civil function that's not accorded enough importance...

I know this might sound negative, but the “doable” stuff is only doable when people would like/want something to happen.

Voting is the bare minimum in a world where the already powerful and wealthy have the playing field slanted dramatically in their favor. Collective, public action serves a needed counterbalance to their assumption they can just do whatever they want with impunity.

So do we use #hashtags on here, or what? So useful, but reminiscent of the bad place. What to do?
