It's been several months and I still like the way I wrote this piece of drama so I'm electing to post my writing here!!! Obviously there's heaps and heaps of context but this is a long-awaited confrontation between two ex-lovers. Writing OCs is SO fun

I kinda hate using "filler" as a word to describe anime episodes because im of the opinion that "filler" episodes are necessary to break tension and let the characters "exist" more outside of the plot but it feels like a lot of these episodes should have existed BEFORE the final Utau confrontation
There's also a similar path in the show shrinking, who is made by the same kind of Continuum of creatives, but it's a much more effective encapsulation of the confrontation of failing and what it means to actually learn from failure instead of stumbling upwards. It also does have a cost.
Overall a very nice event, I'm just a little bit sad because I feel the "confrontation" was too short considering how long we have been waiting for this, but again, just like with Primavera or Sanctuary, I feel this is building the base for something bigger.
