This makes it seem like there was a quota of people who like the general crux of the campaign, that quota was reached, and now they need to move on to the next groups. But I don't think that is how elections work. She also of course risks losing the group she initially got massive buy in from.
Just some thoughts on this piece. I do not agree with this framing crux, even though I'm sure its what the campaign tells itself. You can't only win on "hope" but you should have your entire campaign and organization centered around it. Consistent theming and branding is important.

Here is the crux of the problem. Only the wealthy can afford long-term care. And how many Americans are single and live alone -- without family to provide care? Age and infirmity creeps up faster than you think. If you become disabled because of an accident & need care, good luck with that.
