Vril Dox gets captured by Smite on behalf of Starro the Conquerer. Lobo takes off after Astrid Storm-Daughter because she smells like a female Czarnian. Vril Dox learns that the Psions were cloning Czarnians which is why he was captured. They couldn't get the clones to submit.
Vril Dox and Blackfire have a date and a form a diplomatic partnership. Lobo gets under the skin of Captain Comet about his friends with benefits relationship with Starfire. Lobo is tricked by Astrid Storm-Daughter into thinking she's a Czarnian and uses him to power Starro.
I have always had an affection for this 1990 Lobo boxed set containing the three trade paperbacks Lobo: The Last Czarnian, Lobo’s Greatest Hits, and The Wisdom of Lobo (it’s completely blank). But since getting it signed by Simon Bisley this year at #HeroesCon#TopShelf treasured item!

Since this turned out not to be original Lobo, I find the backup story a bit pointless to be honest. But Guy with Czarnian make up was brilliant!
Great issue. Kyle looks to be developing new powers. Carol is Star Sapphire once more and saves Hal, also dumps her fiance for him. Thaaros calls in favors from Waller to capture Hal. The backup feature with Guy stuck in the Czarnian bottle city as their mailman was funny.
