I love Dartmouth! One holiday with my family we stayed in the converted stable block at Greenways. It is lovely round there, but having a similarly rural small town upbringing, I do understand the frustration - public transport is so bad you’re quite trapped

Regardless, Dartmouth’s mind is probably not wholly focused on his letter to Lord Dunmore, as the Countess of Dartmouth, Frances, gives birth today to the couple’s ninth (and, as it turns out, final) child, Lady Charlotte Legge.
