In the US in 2024 the diesel vehicles listed for 2024 in the EPA fuel economy database get ~19 to 26 MPG. These are not competitive with EVs in terms of emissions as diesel fuel generates 22.44 pounds CO2/gallon diesel. fueleconomy.gov/feg/PowerSea...
