Unfortunately a nuclear ship will wait many years for a favourable wind once the reactor has finally been built before it can even start to ship cargo. Wind energy can be retrofitted to existing fleets with very short production times, at a much lower cost (many orders of magnitude lower cost).

Yes, AVs and esp AV fleets are ideal for optimal evasion of traffic laws. Waymo's app allows anyone in San Francisco to order one of their robots to break the law and it will do it, even right in front of CPUC (Waymo's ridehail regulator) HQ in downtown SF. Blatant scofflaws automated at scale.

Makes sense unfortunately. Wealth and lifestyle are a big driver (pun intended) of carbon emissions in the western world especially. That is why it is imperative that rich countries put in programs@to@convert existing fleets and not expect all EVs to be brand new cars [
