While working the farmers market this weekend I saw one of my favorite people wearing a knit beanie she commissioned me to make her last winter. Made me so happy.
Farmers will unlock the food
Extremely solid goat cheese burger at Founding Farmers, A++, would munch again.
Gonna get no responses to this. I don't care. Zucchini, yellow squash, and onions sautéed. Tons of basil and thyme fresh from the garden. Rice to keep things nice. A super juicy tomato from the farmers market. And lime juice and garlic for pizzazz. My body is rejoicing, starting with my taste buds.
Commercial Coffee prices have gone unchanged since the 1970s and since then we're making farms/co-ops deal with global warming, breeding coffee-rust resistant crops, water sustainability, exporting coffee while in civil war, etc. There are farmers who have never even tasted their own product.
I regret not ordering some of the chili oil to go with this. Oh well, still amazing. Might try the farmers market sauce.

At the farmers market, a nice gentleman tried to chat me up. Even when romantic overtures failed, he still wanted to show me the new waterfront boardwalk, and I'm very glad I took him up on the offer. I came back several times.
