its one of the best examples of just how systemically corrupt the GCPD is. i watched thru about the second season, and everytime Jim (who is a detective) is actually trying to do something, someone above him is constantly making his job a nightmare, and its just. so exhausting in the best way.

Didn’t know that. My main problem is the nigh-on-absolute void of criticism regarding police abuses of power. Still a dynamite read though, and a huge influence on tons of media. (Without HOMICIDE, you don’t get TOP TEN or GCPD.)
