everybody should know now i'm a little bit of a board game freak at this point so while i couldn't get to gencon this year i did manage to snag a little gem and by little I mean tiny, this is literally just a full game of codenames miniaturized
One of the first 10 Avant-garde albums I ever purchased: #DevilChiliBeansgenerationsunlimited.bandcamp.com/album/gencon
20 track album
I found out about it at GenCon and read through it. It's got good reviews and it looks simple enough to run. It looks like it's supposed to be run as a fairly collaborative game with the default world building being group-driven. So that will be interesting!
First time a student has reported on a convention & they picked GenCon. They opened up big with the question "Does GenCon Matter?" I'm heard that question in whisper networks from people that work in the industry for years. This was an excellent delve about getting lost in the folds.
Gestern die neueste Ausgabe des @fairplaymagazin.bsky.social#brettspiele
Took me until 2024, but GenCon did it.
Anyway I will keep making complaints about the paschal troparion that my church keeps setting to a Hasidic folk song until they stop I do not care that they did it in San Francisco. I don't care if GenCon makes it part of the BCP. It's gross. We should stop.
