I know that may sound like gatekeeping. I'm not trying to be a snob about the word. Everyone can study history. The genealogists, the buffs, my Dad laboriously working his way through biographies of the presidents—that's doing history, and more power to them. I just need the gate for cosplay Nazis.

Just curious - what social media platform do you think is most popular among genealogists and family historians? BlueSky? Instagram? Facebook? Threads? LinkedIn? Something else? #genealogy#FamilyHistory

One of the greatest joys we experience as genealogists is hearing stories of success from those who have used our services. These words from Carol offer a glimpse of the many that you can find on our website. Do you have a story to share? ❤ Read more: www.searchangels.org/testimonials

One of the things about our lives is that other people can tell our story for us. THIS IS WHY genealogists encourage people to write up *their own story*, to pass down. Collect your photos, etc. Make your family tree public, with the information from your life. Others will if you don't.

@juergen_hubert This could be useful for American genealogists. I have a few old letters from relatives, postmarked with the names of vanished towns.
