Wasn't expecting to see two grasshoppers having carnal relations today. Would have taken a picture but that's quite rude; I'd be pretty pissed if someone walked up to me in the middle of fucking and just snapped a picture without even asking!

“I’m sorry.” He murmurs, leaning down and resting his forehead against mine. His thumb stokes my bottom lip. “Your work is not silly. I don’t know what grasshoppers have to do with pain management, but it matters to you and that’s all that matters to me. You know that, don’t you?” 😭😭😭

One of the best weekends all year for me. Went to a hockey game, took a hike by a beautiful creek/lake and stumbled across an apple orchard selling apples for 60 cents/lb. We saw dragonflies, grasshoppers, snakes, a frog, a wooly caterpillar & a variety of birds. #Photography#Nature

A dirt path between two rows of apple trees.
A large rectangular sized rock dismantled from a rocky hillside by a creek.
A small creek lying between a paved trail and a hillside of solid rock.
A beautiful lake along a trail. The far side of the lake is a large hill lined with pine trees and a few houses. Lily pads can be seen along the far shore.

Oh my special stray cat wasn’t on the porch! That’s another stray! The special one named hopper was laying 3 feet away from me! Her name is hopper because she jumps and hops and chases grasshoppers

Garter snakes and tree frogs were abundant where I grew up. In ~10 years time, gone. Used to have many crickets and grasshoppers, as well. Hardly see/hear them in yards, anymore. Swallowtail butterflies, at least THIS year, I've seen more than I have in the last 20 years. Cabbage moths, as well.
