I'm not saying it's okay to dismiss what is the biggest market, I'm just saying the journalists are not in a position to try and go up against their SEO overlord. There's a ton of content creators talking about mobile games, we now have a lot of tools to capture and livestream them.
Some of us won't forget their forcing farmers to suicide due to suppressing milk wholesale prices to below cost. Big props to the work of the 'citizen journalists' and individuals who have already done the work and are forcing the ACCC and government to take notice and act.

Seems like most gatekeeper journalists are white and middle class. When they imagine political violence, they probably imagine it being done for them rather than against them.
i doubt any of these new media websites made up of journalists who have been fired from bigger websites with worse politics and policies are making any money, but i hope that some of them survive
