Great night at Fen Speak last night. Guest poet Ian Clarke, who grew up near Wisbech, delivered an evocative and witty set of poetry about life and wildlife in the fens. Plus top open mic, including lapwings, sci-fi, and bubbles.

Photo of Ian Clarke dressed in black behind a microphone in an art gallery with photos of wildlife on the white wall behind him.

Blue sky, green field & stubble field with a brook bisecting them.
Ploughed soil, tree line behind, blue sky above.
Blue sky, hedgerow, small pool, grass, distant trees, and a far-off tractor being followed by gulls.
