(L-R) Dad, Mum me and my sister.
(L-R) Me, Mum, sister. This is in garden of my great uncle and aunt in Stanford-le-hope in the late 70s.

First notable fall of winter thrushes this morning at Lowestoft with redwing & song thrush calling from the churchyard trees since dawn began to break. Now heading off west in ones and twos every few minutes

Looking south west from the north of St Margaret's church, Lowestoft, the sky a pink and blue hue of a stormy dawn morning

Anubis, awesome god of death, spotted in Lowestoft. Not sure how true this is, but nevertheless local journalism at its finest: Authorities response “We’re keeping an eye on the situation. If it’s a divine matter, it’s above our pay grade.” #egyptologywww.suffolkgazette.com/neighbour-wa...

I’ve mentioned this here before, but it’s when I saw Superman II at the Marina in Lowestoft. The cinema was packed with kids who treated the movie like Saturday afternoon wrestling. It was wild. When Zod et al raise a storm with their supe breaths a kid yelled, “It’s Hurricane Higgins!”
