Yup, though, as a former German Luthern/recovering Presbyterian USA Ordained Elder (that's the liberal US Presby folks) I sorta just skipped over that went straight to my current thought-line on that arena... Not a snark comment by the way..I honor your path.
Cousin-in-law had to "become Catholic and was from a strong German Luthern family to marry a girl. He did so. They divorced, annulled for a price, a couple years later.
The placements of “diverse” also makes me think it’s just mixing Christianities? Like it almost is on every boarder. Which means in some areas “diverse” might mean 48% Catholic, 48% Luthern
2/2 I don't know how quickly the two realized that they had wandered onto the grounds of a Luthern missionary retirement home. I also don't know if they ever came back.
i wanna design a shirt that says "nothing loosens up a luthern like some shrooms"
Oh, yes, It is apparently (extremely) rare. I know my MIL was very annoyed though and wrote a letter. The only way I've seen a combination communion was a wedding with both a Catholic priest and a Luthern pastor presiding, and the Catholic priest brought consecrated host with him.
I grew up next door to a Luthern church and they have put up gay and trans "everyone is welcome signs" and I am actually and genuinely moved
pay less attention to weird white luthern grandparent stuff that people flout, check out the hmong food it's fucking awesome
