The academy was one of the few opportunities for local gov to get training offered in central gov, it was well received and it was a massive loss when we couldn’t provide it any more. I think partly because it was difficult to manage the cross charging between departments (GDS to MHCLG)

Thanks! I can't take credit for it though. It's already in use by MHCLG and Local Planning Authorities as Open Digital Planning, joining up planning services. We now need an Open Digital Highways, Open Digital Education, etc, rethinking how and where services are delivered, supported by technology.
