Apple's whining about the NLRB case over their NDAs - pretending like NLRB & I are bullying them with lies about their work policies. Apple's claiming they've always been an open & supportive company, & never censor employees. (see left). But also Apple... (see right). www.hcamag.com/us/news/gene...
sorry it’s so bananas to me that they can still go with this “grad students aren’t employees” line when the NLRB has already ruled to the contrary and *tons of our colleagues at competitor schools are already unionized*
It's also worth remembering that in practical terms regarding US Policy, "hostility" towards billionaires and the .01% isn't "you're rotating on a spit w/an apple in your mouth" (tho they act like it is), it's an NLRB that actually does its job & maybe at best a 3% increased top marginal tax rate
I asked NLRB to post copies of the complaint against Apple on their public website & they did today - but redacted it heavily. I told them I already shared the unredacted version & they haven't responded. Ya gotta tell me not to tweet or I'm gonna tweet. NLRB Complaint: www.nlrb.gov/case/32-CA-2...
Her pick for the NLRB would be the best evidence of her union support and I haven't seen any statements about her direction on that

SpaceX has filed two lawsuits seeking to dismantle the NLRB, and Musk is now in a new conflict with the FAA over rocketry regulation.
it's kinda funny that despite Trump being in favor of NLRB rollbacks, the union leadership is 50/50 on Trump and Harris
In contrast, Trump’s NLRB spent his entire 4 years going after unions.
"Apple could face significant legal & reputational consequences if the NLRB complaint is upheld... Apple is among a growing number of tech firms where union activity has gained traction as employees advocate for fair treatment & improved working conditions." - NASDAQ www.nasdaq.com/articles/app...
The media still believes that “union workers” are exclusively white male. The PRO act and NLRB help expand unions ranks in service jobs where people are actually working in the 21st century.
