Israeli massacres of Palestinians have been going on since its foundation, decades before any of these leaders were born. Hamas is, quite frankly a predictable response to Israel ethnic cleansing Palestinians and crushing all forms of Palestinian nonviolent resistance.

The thing that's funny about the Columbia student group endorsing violence is their protests as a whole were pretty much nonviolent and probably would have been more successful if that were emphasized instead of edgy "resistance by any means necessary" rhetoric.

I'm so old I remember Israel supporters complaining there were no nonviolent Palestinian leaders while they (Israel supporters) ignored nonviolent protests by Palestinians.
