What I use for themes currently is a combination of Winstep Xtreme and BBlean with OpenShell for the start menu and Directory Opus for the Explorer alternative because Windows Explorer has and always will suck ass in comparison to DO and Total Commander.
Today I made a Bookmark Start button 🔖 for my minimal laptop desktop, using with Affinity Designer, and apply it in #ClassicShell#OpenShell#AffinityDesigner

For myself, and for any clients' machines, as soon as Windows boots up for the first time I install/run: - Winaero Tweaker - Ninite.com for a bunch of stuff, definitely including OpenShell (to get a usable menu again) and Revo Uninstaller (to de-crapify the initial installation)
I don't think Sega shuts down fan projects except if you make money off of them. Oh and I use OpenShell.

I got Openshell approved at my work precisely because the replacement sucks so bad.
If only microsoft learned why people use things like OpenShell and ExplorerPatch.
Alors. J'ai fait. Sauf que c'est prendre le risque de péter l'OS à chaque MAJ. Y'a 2 outils que j'utilisais: openshell et explorer patcher. Mais.... c'est ce qui m'a poussé plus rapidement vers une distrib Linux et MacOS
RetroBar + OpenShell for the taskbar/start menu. WinAeroTweaker for some usability tweaks. The rest was done manually editing the registry.
