Bottom line is as long as faculty keep choosing #PublishOrPerish as their way to measure a scholar the publishers will have the leverage. (c)

I have loved so much about being a community college faculty member over the course of my career, and not suffering under #PublishOrPerish has certainly been one of the side benefits.

Received an email from the journal where we've been waiting for our accepted article to be published and turns out they've been delayed because they were hacked. When will all companies realise that they are a potential target for being hacked? #academicsky#episky#publishorperish

I understand the importance of good governance but my project has been delayed 7 months so far because of a data transfer agreement that is going around and around in circles... Ugh #academicsky#episky#publishorperish

Ahh, Reviewer no. 2 strikes again, this time basically telling us to redo the whole premise of our scoping review to what they think would be more useful to them. Am thinking I will reply with some doi's of reviews that already exist addressing those points. #episky#academicsky#publishorperish
