Purim is pretty upbeat

Lies mal über Purim oder Chanukka und wie/womit es heute gefeiert wird. Und Pessach gehört auch dazu. Aber insbesondere Purim. Ich fand das Foto von Eliyah Havemann aus dem israelischen Supermarkt kurz vor letztem Purim so großartig (findest du auch bei mir als Quote und Repost).

I remember someone on the other site doing one sentence descriptions of various Jewish holidays, and including something along the lines of: Purim: Surviving Genocide Day (ancient, colourful, celebratory) Yom HaShoah: Surviving Genocide Day (recent, dark, sombre)
