Whenever I run curriculum development workshops I always say that what you do with Year 9 is the most critical decision. In chemistry, there are key concepts that need to be secure before progressing. As someone who taught the old QCA KS3 units the idea of missing year 9 has always seemed strange.
It's been over four years, and yet I'm still hearing about the QCA "riots", and the "rioters"' murder of Italia Kelly and folks? I am begging you to be less bigoted than the DPD, who investigated her killing and arrested her murderer... a disgruntled white guy who had threatened her and her sister.
Don’t forget QCA NNS NLS ELS

daaaaang that sounds like my time at the QCA too:)
BTW it's a Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) Course. I do recommend this methodology for anyone interested in teasing out meaningful messages from complex data. It has quantitative and qualitative aspects, which is very cool & I have a feeling knowing it will be worth the pain. 😖
