Just finished my first game of Friedrich - playing as Prussia(so tough!) with @cliosboardgames.bsky.social@whovian223.bsky.social#RallyTheTroops. What a fantastic, tactical game; we immediately jumped to second game!
What a tense game and close score! Time of Crisis by @gmtgames.bsky.social#RallyTheTroops@playersaidblog.bsky.social@playersaidalex.bsky.social@whovian223.bsky.social Great fun as always!
Votes for Women is a banger of a game, and it’s still on Kickstarter for a few more weeks! I’ve been playing it myself on RallyTheTroops. It’s truly excellent.
The second printing of the award-winning board game on the women's suffrage movement and the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment.
Played my first game of Votes for Women on RallyTheTroops this week, and it’s just a beautiful game. Tense and fraught while having very little rules overhead. Biting my nails at the end to see if I could muster enough congressional lobbying to pass the 19th amendment. NARRATOR: He could not.
Learning Andean Abyss on #RallyTheTroops@volko.bsky.social I should probably figure out the specifics for the Govt/AUC instead of randomly playing by feel based on my other COIN experiences. Otherwise the first propaganda round is going be painful
I never really meshed with online versions of boardgames, but decided to give rally-the-troops.com@smoothestjazz.bsky.social. It's a really tight system and I'm not sending pieces flying everywhere like Tabletop Simulator. I recommend it. Wargames only though at this point.
