It's still so strange to me that while Dems get upset about the partisan disaster relief direction under Trump, conservatives are hearing today on talk radio that federal relief is not being deployed to NC & TN after Hurricane Helene. Completely different info silos. Completely different reporting.
So Trump only agreed to send federal disaster relief to wildfire-ravaged California in 2018 after someone pointed out he has supporters there. To be fair, I would support a law, or Congressional & Senate rule, that any Representative or Senator who votes against a Disaster Relief package for other states, but then wants Federal Government funds for their state after a disaster, be required to wear sack cloth and ashes and walk a gauntlet.
