It's not "people who only take" that's the problem. There are lots of folks who have no other alternatives It's people who are sneaky about taking/getting, who emotionally load things in subtle manipulations. People who never consider the needs of anyone other than themselves I'm not a resource

I've been pricing my old M:TG collectiona nd it reminds me a lot of what @johnrogers.bsky.social says, "Amatures study tactics. Professionals study logistics." Most of the highest priced cards break the resource curve or allow you to search the card you need out of your deck.

Same. JASP will have modules soon, too, which will be a big step. For me, jamovi has an edge for having a cloud version—the students I teach often need that option. Jamovi also looks cooler and is less of a resource hog. But both are great and are full on spss killers!

My local school board is doing this too and I was like great, guess they’ll be teaching kids it’s OK to steal art and plagiarize words (they specifically approved chat g*t and one of the big Gen ai image ones). Wonderful 🙄 If I find some resource links I’ll DM

If only we had an equality body with the resource and inclination to pick govts up on late and low quality EQIAs, which even then still manage to show that equality has very much not been a significant factor in decision-making. And if only the PSED was an outcome, rather than a process, duty.
