I’ve continued my route through the delightful towns of Asturias to Ribadesella. Who knew it’s the capital of canoeing. Not me.
Moving onto Ribadesella next. It’s the town where the Sella River empties into the Bay of Biscay, on the Cantabrian Sea. The journey there gave an indication of the spectacular natural setting that awaited.
Leaving mountain backed Oviedo to head east, towards the Ribadesella and Llanes area, and incredibly beautiful stretch of coastline. I’ll be visiting the fishing villages and beaches there. Let’s start the journey with San Vicente de la Barquera.
