I think Operazione Paura, The Changeling, and Ringu would make for a good Halloween triple feature.

Seeing Ringu alone at the cinema (there was maybe five other people there). It was years after it came out but I hadn't had the chance to see it. The whole way through wondering how they were dying. And then it was revealed. I was genuinely terrified. The most scared I've ever been watching a film.

Yes! I love The Ring and when I finally saw Ringu I was kind disappointed that it just didn't work for me.

I watched Ringu but surprisingly it left me cold, I usually prefer quieter/more understated BUT 1) had zero patience for the insufferable psychic ex or the way the movie put him in charge 2) it tended to info dump via dialogue; USian version also explained a lot but at least not by ppl blathering
