息子が生まれたての頃、実家に帰っていた妻子に週末だけ会いに行っていた。それで金曜と土曜の夜だけでも妻にゆっくり寝てもらうため、夜中のおもりをさせてもらってた（妻は実家の誰にも息子を触らせようとはしなかった）。 息子は俺が誰だかわかるはずもなく、ほぼ一晩中、母を求めて泣きまくったし、俺の腕から逃れようとし続け、疲れ果てて眠るまでそれを繰り返していた。合間合間におむつを変えたりミルクを飲ませたり。SIDSも怖かったから、高額なセンサーアラームつかって心音などをモニターしてた。 繊細な嬰児を24時間護るの、一人では疲れ果てるだろうな。
