This came out so far in advance of the screenplay it was based on that it doesn't even do a tie-in thing, and so a second version of this game with different levels and plot came out once the movie finally did. Next time I see that for $4 used, getting it
The WIld Robot: just as much a meditation on the necessity of community as the plight of parenthood. Screenplay did a ton of good work introducing a lot of tough concepts without flinching. This also may be my favorite animation that Dreamworks has ever done.

I mean...yeah, that is the truth, according to Dan O'Bannon and Ron Shussett, who penned the original screenplay which was re-written to add other elements (like Ash) but that point was still kept. (And yes, ALIEN remains one of my favorite movies--it always holds up on every viewing)
