But I also don't have much to offer. Like, I thought I'd be recommending books from the ShortBox Fair, but I have nothing much to say except “I like this one” for every single one. Every time I think about recommending something I like, it feels like just bragging about what I bought.
I've read about half of these now and Shortbox is seriously unmatched. We all know Sajan Rei, Sloane Hong, and Otava Heikkila are the best doing it, but Kiku Hughes' sci-fi parable really surprised me.
