I don't think there's any technical problem going to SSO with SS, though SSO is usually launched from Vandenberg and I haven't heard of any plan to launch it there? Also isn't Starshield already an imaging constellation? -- on top of what the DoD already have.

I've always said Starlink's primary purpose is war. In theory it's just Starshield. In theory Russia is banned. In practice, Starlink users directly fund the infrastructure that drops bombs on innocent civilians. www.newsweek.com/ukraine-star...

"Starshield leverages SpaceX's Starlink technology and launch capability to support national security efforts." OK. So a guy set to become a trillionaire in a couple years, with the above technology at his disposal? That's like some serious comic book villainy potential.

curious how much the illicit installation and service cost, compared to the official military star shield service. At least the tech installing the starshield saw that the older starlink dish was already there.
