The SECOND RPG I played. Level pegging w/ MERP and a smattering of WFRP/Runequest/Stormbringer through '88 - '93.
Absolutely. I've got game books on the shelf older than I am, and I know there are people actively playing and loving them all the time. (I will however still be cranky that there isn't a new edition of Stormbringer/Elric on the horizon, even if Black Sword Hack is a great alternative.)
Curious fact: the "Stormbringer" tornado image is based on an old photo of a tornado taken in 1927. It's also borrowed for the cover of Miles Davis's "Bitches Brew" & Souxie & the Banshees's "Tinderbox" archive.ph/Bcqvn
