Happened to me 10 years ago in Iowa. An undergrad on class break came up to my lecturn to ask if my curly hair hid my horns or if I had to trim them like a goat. I was the TA for a religious studies class.

I enjoy gold & silver in combination on the nib like that, but it annoys me when the nib is silver but the trim is gold, or vice-versa. There was a pen recently where the nib didn’t match the trim and that was the deciding factor in me not buying it.
