I may have burned bridges with mutuals on Twitter who are still in the "anti-woke" camp over Scott Pilgrim, but I regret nothing. Now I see the anti-woke grifters for what they are: Lying scumbag tourists who destroy fandoms like a plague of locusts.
Indeed, a bit silly. Anyway, tourists actually 'on a tour' with itinerary, guide, etc. who are the target of the quote, are afaict only a subset of 'tourists'. Maybe they see what they're told. The rest are travellers or visitors, and at least here in Berlin, they will see [ahem] a lot of stuff 🫣
Is it rather touching or rather pathetic that privileged people who travel from home to enjoy time elsewhere are desperate to distance themselves from people they call tourists?

Shoutout to my English studies being more useful attending groups of tourists than anything else on my live so far. It's fun when I become an improvised translator for the folks at the restaurant! Also GM everyone, this little emote was made by @namineanami.bsky.social so do give her some love!!!
Thailand, despite the millions of tourists who visit every year, still has a host of hidden gems to enjoy. Just 100km east of Bangkok is beautiful Nakhon Nayok with dozens of attractions, and a host of activities. Follow www.youtube.com/@yoyofellini as he gives you a taste of authentic Thailand.
Side rant: Also, it’s a stupid place for the train station, I really wish it was still on Moorhouse. And there’s almost zero signage. We’ve helped obviously lost tourists find it on more than once occasion!
Staying in a lovely Cotswold hotel and this is the view from sitting in our bath. Clearly entertaining the locals and tourists is part of our stay. 😂😂😂
