instagram's 'edgy, totally ironic' middle schooler humor gave way to unironic nazi shit in 2020ish and it's never left. nearly every platform is pretty much overrun with fash-adjacent trolls and it's made the internet a miserable place to exist.

While it might be fun to dunk on grifters like Grummz, it only ends up keeping them relevant on social media. These people thrive on attention, good or bad. The age old saying of "don't feed the trolls" should really be followed when dealing with people like Grummz.

I’ve mentioned it before, but there is a not-insubstantial amount of new accounts made by right wing trolls with the explicit purpose of sowing discontent on the left active in the last 3 days. They usually adopt socialist/queer/palestinian signifiers and then immediately go looking for fights. /1
