I hadn’t realized that APB weren’t actually celebrated in the UK; WLIR played they hell out of What Kind of Girl, Rainy Day and I’d Like to Shoot You Down so they were huge on Long Island. youtu.be/oFNadvdO6wU?...

At some point in 1985, Miles Copeland came to WLIR during a Denis McNamara show with a bunch of new releases from IRS and a recording of him singing Every Breath You Take. This is one of the songs he had. (I hate that I recorded that show but tossed the tape during a move) youtu.be/SsmVgoXDq2w?...

What can I say? Any chance you remember WLIR?
