In which Florida legislators tell the Supreme Court that it's unfair to listen to the expertise of doctors who actually work with trans people because such doctors will almost certainly oppose a ban on their health care
Some are still following the older WPATH stuff unfortunately; takes a lot of convincing with some :(
Gotta follow the WPATH guidelines!
It is worth noting transfemscience.org is where I do get a lot of my personal info, however I've also researched extensive medical studies, the UCSF standards of care (because fuck WPATH), as well as have done extensive research into outlier cases due to being an anomalous case myself.
Transfeminine Science is a site for information on hormone therapy for transfeminine people.
WPATH won't tell u this but the real answer to "spiro? y/n" is bicalutamide
waiting on the last namechange related piece of paper in the mail before i try to get my WPATH ffs approval letter. very curious if i become very unhinged online once ffs stuff realllly gets rolling... kinda feel like i wont? or it atleast wont be too bad
This is recommended off the SOC8, Edno society, and wpath based on my understanding
I wrote a bit of a post-conference debrief in the form of a travel diary in the week post WPATH, which is up on my blog now! Such a complex experience to feel so grateful for, y'know? blog.jenniferkshields.nz/from-lisboa-...
I've been in Lisboa, Portugal for the past week, attending my first WPATH symposium. It's my first time here and I'm glad I came, but it's also been a strong reminder of how far we still have to go.
🌌 ive been where you are thinking it’s over it’s done I just can’t keep moving on being put on a list to wait for waiting to be on the next list for completely arbitrary reasons that are now removed from WPATH it’s cruel, it’s so unfair you deserve so much better and maybe something can be done
