Funnily enough my Galaxy Note8 has fallen into the toilet. But it's waterproof, so I just rinsed it off under the tap! There was a notification saying not to plug it into a charger until moisture was no longer detected in the port.

I have to go out this arvo. Unavoidable. It has been pissing down all morning and is still pissing down and is going to piss down all afternoon and all evening. Will be deploying my walking boots, as waterproof.

Good morning BlueSky. Your mission, Friends & Fam, should you decide to accept it, is to help me brainstorm an idea to solve a small challenge I have for using one of my bedroom closets. Please see ALT for details. The Secretary will not disavow knowledge of you or any of your team members.

One bedroom closet holds the apartment’s hot water heater. This is standard for a lot of places in Florida as I guess they couldn’t be bothered to sort out any other spot considering we didn’t have furnaces to pair them with? Dunno. (Ignore the baking soda dusted on the carpet & floor. Will vacuum that up tonight after work. I was trying to solve the issue of a terrible smell coming from that area but read this morning how to fix that.) Anyway, see next image please.
I want to put something in there that will protect or be a barrier to what I need to put in that closet. Something hopefully water resistant or waterproof. The space is 67” inches high and 23” inches from the back of the closet to where the inside edge of the closed door sits. It can stand on the floor or it can hang from the wire shelf. I’m open to ideas. What it cannot do is require drilling or any permanent fixture as I’m a renter. If you’re a professional contractor or interior designer or architect and have ideas, and I can afford your rates, I will pay you for your consultation on this project. If you aren’t a professional, we can still negotiate a fee as I believe in paying people for their mental and creative labor as much as their physical labor. Let’s talk in the comments and move to DMs where applicable.

Doctor: "How are you feeling?" Me: "Nauseous" Doctor: "How about when I poke here?" Me: "I hope your shoes are waterproof"

Large uncomfortable waterproof poncho that makes rustling sound every time you move. I know advice is not your thing, but this is genius

so uh yeah... we apparently had to replace a $400 module because the tab on one microswitch broke... it's the alps SPVQ1 series (waterproof / sealed), and the lever arms apparently just break off in some conditions?

Soggy feet are the worst. I'm not sure I could pull off a wellie but I have invested in some waterproof Chelsea boots that I use on wet days. All the bicycle food delivery people wear wellies in my city, and use bar mits to keep their hands warm and dry.
