My wfh desk is in front of a bricked-up chimney breast, it’s like a negative radiator. Great in the summer but last January I sat with my legs in a sleeping bag! (Obvs I also had to option of going to the office where it’s warm, but fuck that noise!)

That's the thing isn't it. I was able to not replace my car when I wrote it off because I live in Edinburgh which has excellent links and I have a wfh job now. I had to have one for work previously.

'Hybrid' is arbitrary and a compromise. There is no evidence that working from home (wfh) stifles innovation. In my experience, wfh is conducive to innovation because people can think. I am still waiting for a single rationale and compelling argument for compulsory commuting to an office.

So the plan has been once again borked by the weather, and I have another day stuck at home, scratching my arse and nobbing about on the internet. Unless anyone wants to hire me as a WFH gardener/bass player/ lifestyle guru?

Good morning all. WFH and seeking a break in the rain to walk the hounds.
