I think the Widelux goes slightly wider and has more manual control. This will be a £1k+ camera at least.

They're similar tho, right? I mean, I've always wanted a widelux cos they look massive cool and aren't plastic junk

I’ll definitely buy one. I had the chance to buy a Widelux this past spring at market price after testing it. I declined & regret the decision ever since.

The Horizon cameras are still available new. I have an old 202. But the Widelux is the king of 35mm swing lens.

They do suggest that it will be totally analogue.

Now, SILVERBRIDGES is reviving this iconic camera for 2025 as the WIDELUX•X. Staying true to its analog roots, the WIDELUX•X will be purely mechanical, preserving everything that made the original great while incorporating sustainable manufacturing practices. With modern durability and timeless charm, the WIDELUX•X is designed to last for generations, capturing stunning panoramic scenes for a new era of photographers.

Great! I've always wanted a widelux. I note that lomo made a similar camera though? Although it's out of production ... I think? Anyway, hope this is more than some sort of cheap digital knock off from china. petapixel.com/2024/09/19/j...

And the Widelux produces images no digital product can. It’s mechanical, so if well re-engineered and built, will last decades. Even if it’s ridiculously expensive, I’m in. I predict brisk sales, a long waiting list and it will still be a unique item. This is what film photography is all about.
