Leah was one of the first agents I ever queried. That project wasn't ready, but I knew it wasn't over. I could tell she believed in me. Her editorial vision + her enthusiasm for diversifying the publishing industry kept her high on my wishlist. I'm so excited for what's to come.

A Twitter exchange from 8/2/22 between Danny (@DBGeeWrites) and Leah (@Leahbene). The first of three tweets, from Leah, reads: "Realizing it's been a while since I've done an #amagenting update but I've finally had time to get caught up on queries so if you haven't heard back from me yet then I'm still considering! And I have about 8 subs I'm still working my way thru... the oldest being one from Feb" Cringe emoji.

The second tweet, from Danny, reads: "Is it poor taste to reply to this and say “I’m hoping to add to your list”?" Sweaty emoji. Smiling but single tear emoji. Crying laughing emoji.

The final tweet, from Leah, reads: "Haha, not at all! Looking forward to seeing it!"

Currently, only 1 person has signed up for office hours on Sunday, so they are getting a great deal on a 1-on-1 coaching session, unless others want to join us? Up to 10 writers can join in on office hours and ask me all their publishing & storytelling questions! #kidlit#amquerying#amagenting
