This is a composite image made up of three of my ink drawings, called Forest Friends. The three drawings include one of a stag with a crow perched in its antlers, another one of a fox trying to engage a crow in play, and the third one is of a crow peering at a baby skunk, who is having a nap in the hollow of a fallen tree. All the drawings are done in ink with a little bit of colour on toned paper. The text on the image reads “forest animals by artist, JC Little, three prints for the price of two.”

Of course, my first pick for an animal friend would be a fellow Homo sapien. But if I had to pick outside of mammals, I'd go with a raven (Corvus corax). Their intelligence and problem-solving skills are truly remarkable. 🧠🦅 #AnimalFriends
