Quick plug for Cam Self and Stephen Hyatt-Cross’ new book wot I designed and typeset. Honourable mention to for @jntod.bsky.socialwaterlandbooks.co.uk/shop/ (or Bookhive in London Street, Norwich)

A copy of the book, Green banded cover with white text and a black and white photo of the Broads, with some Murano bubble glass which was actually in the way but I couldn’t be bothered to move it.

A ghost reading a book while relaxing in a beach lounger, under an umbrella, with a martini on the table next to them.
In honor of Spooky Month, I've got a great selection of weird, dark, disturbing, twisted, monster fucking, dark humor, and horror novels lined up to read.

In no particular order:
• Honeysuckles by January Rayne
• Craven Manor by Darcy Coates
• The Carrow Haunt by Darcy Coates
• Soul scape: Books 1-3 by CJ Bishop
• Tangling With Trolls by Hazel Mack
• Superbia by Colette Rhodes
• Gula by Colette Rhodes
• My Best Friend's Exorcism by Grady Hendrix
• The Southern Book Club's Guide To Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix
• The Woman In Black by Susan Hill
• The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson
• Whispers Of The Dead by M. Kato
• The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe
• H.P. Lovecraft, The Complete Collection

I probably won't be able to get through them all, but it's going to be fun trying. 😉

One of the biggest joys for a writer is seeing a reader react to the journey of a story they wrote. The Fate (the character) is 1 of my favorite parts of West of Apocalypse. Seeing this over on Hive made my night. This reader still has two-thirds of the book to go! www.billblume.net/books/west-o...

Screen cap of a post on Hive:

Ooh @BillBlume, you absolute bastard! 🤬(affectionate)

I just finished Part 2 - The Fate.

You're not pulling any punches, are you?

I need a hug now, damn it. 😭
