Sometime back in the mid 90s, it was a gimmick for bands in clubs to start their set by walking on to an audio track to a film. One band (I forget who) played the entire audio from the Bullitt car chase. All 11 minutes. It was fn hilarious
Watching Bullitt for the first time and god this car chase absolutely eats the entire Fast and Furious franchise for lunch.
Holding myself accountable here, I confess that I watched Bullitt (1968) months ago and only gave it a 6. Idk if I was in a bad mood that day, what, but it's weighed on me ever since. It's probably more like an 8 and I'm so sorry. I probably need to step away, take some time to overhaul my system.
